CenterStage knows that producing quality shows requires the effort of many people in a myriad of positions, more off-stage than on. Besides working with a group of fun people who love music, there are opportunities that appeal to everyone. Our members work in planning, administration, set construction, lighting, sound, costuming, make-up, dance & vocal staging, promotion, sales, desktop publishing, vocal, and instrumental music.

An important goal is to create a learning environment where members have the opportunity to improve their artistic skills and share their talents with others under the supervision of professional directors. We grow in a community of support, friendship, and diversity that allows us to remain involved in the performing arts while continuing along our career paths.

CenterStage is organized and operated for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its purposes include, not as a restriction or enlargement of such purposes, but as illustrative: to provide opportunities for musical performance as a way to advance culture and the arts; educating the public about the importance of music in culture, its origins and history, and the benefits of music for therapeutic purposes, and providing musical performances for the public benefit for both enjoyment and therapy.
